Strap Sandals

What are the type of sandals that strap around your foot?
They’re kinda like thong sandals except they don’t have the strap that goes down in the middle of your foot. Basically it straps on the top of your foot along the edges and around your ankle.
They’re not gladiators ._. They don’t have all those straps on your foot, just around.
Well I guess it doesn’t really strap around your ankle. More like below your ankle
